in Central Texas, we
strive to produce the kind of beef our customers would raise if they
had the
opportunity, the kind one usually cannot find at the store. This
means hormone-free, chemical-free beef raised and finished on the
type of
natural grass environment for which they were born. Raised this
way the
cattle rarely get sick which means artificial antibiotics, medicines,
and
inorganic additives are not necessary (nor desirable).
Additionally,
we selected native Texas Longhorns to raise in this natural
environment. Over 400
years of time-tested natural selection went into this enduring
breed.
Genetically lean, this beef is in demand by customers desiring
healthier
lifestyles and eating habits.

 8/11/05 News Update:
We now have
a herd of St. Croix sheep that we are also raising completely on
pasture grass, and forbs. Sheep like to nibble on trees, brushy
branches, and wild plants besides grass. We also supplement their
diet with Norwegian sea kelp and Redmond sea salt.

are now in the process of getting our lamb meat ready to offer for
sale. Our very first lambs are now at the meat packing place. Check back soon!
